Doug Hawkins - Metro
Council - District 25
|
Councilman Doug Hawkins was elected to
serve on the first Louisville/Jefferson County Metro
Council in November 2002. He represents the areas of
Pleasure Ridge Park, Parkridge, Auburndale, Valley
Station, Waverly Hills and Prairie Village.
Hawkins is a real estate broker/appraiser. Previously,
Hawkins was a candidate for state representative.
His involvement in the community includes serving as
president of the Windsor Forest Homeowners Association.
He also volunteers and teaches Sunday School at the South
Jefferson Baptist Church.
Hawkins holds a bachelor?s degree with majors in
economics, English and finance from the University of
Kentucky.
Doug and his wife, Jan, have two children.
